3 ingredient oat pancakes

Simple oaty pancakes with no flour? Check. Sweet and delicious pancakes with no refined sugar? Check. Pancakes that provide the obvious go-to recipe for a new take on conventional pancakes? Definitely! These pancakes taste like sweet and oaty happiness in every bite with the banana giving a natural sweetness that is complemented perfectly with honey. Fruit is also a must, I chose blueberries because the tartiness and sweetness work so well together; as a whole they super healthy and tastes greattttt!
Preparation time:

10 minutes
Cooking time:

~1 minute each side

a small stack of pancakes
You will need…

🍁 60g oats

πŸ‚ 1 ripe banana

🍁 10 tbsp milk of choice

πŸ„ 1/2 tbsp honey (optional)
How to make:
(TIP: as you make the pancakes, stack them on a plate in the oven on a low heat so they don’t go cold)

1) Blend the oats using a hand blender, add in the milk and banana (and honey).

2) Mix together with a fork until you have a smooth, batter-like consistency. Add more/less milk depending on how thick/thin your mixture is (aim for it to be relatively runny).

3) In a hot frying pan with a little oil, ladle spoonfuls of the mixture to your desired pancake size and leave to cook for at least 1 minute. Use a fork to lift up one side to see if it’s taken a firmer shape and is darker in colour; if so, turn with a spatula (or attempt to flip for the daring ones amongst us).

4) Repeat until the mixture is gone, serve with honey and fruit for a delicious dessert/breakfast/all round exciting food adventure.

I ran out of honey lol
